Agreed, and they won't need to accept. AA and DL are happy to provide a far premium service to what UA is capable of in this area, including the international destinations I prefer to have my child escorted.
Used AA today instead of ual for 13 year old on non stop that she does 15+++ times a year
Saved $300 not using ual

True and I am not obligated to use ual - aa will do just fine
