Hello

I have an upcoming return itinerary from Vancouver to Barcelona Air France with a connection in Paris on both outbound and inbound journeys.

I am now considering staying in Paris for a few days on the outbound leg and missing the connecting flight. (sub question). Is there a way of doing this without bringing a carry on only?

My main question is, will missing the connecting flight affect my inbound itinerary? or will it remain unaffected?

I've tried calling air France customer service a few times with no answer.
