Here is a question for those with experience of this issue. Why are there so few direct flights between London and Japan. From what I can tell, BA, JL and NH all fly once daily to NRT. Additionally, BA flies once daily to HND. And that's it. No flights to Osaka or any other Japanese cities. I'm guessing no other UK base has any direct flights to Japan. Also direct fares seem very high, some of the highest outside TATL. Anyone know what's going on?
