I paid $817 for dinner for 2 at Masa's SF a couple years ago and 580 Euros in Taillevent last month. The bill at Masa's was inflated by a bottle of 1994 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cab and the Taillevent bill by a nice if youngish Lynch Bages.

I (or rather my employer) paid $1800+ for dinner for 6 at Fifth Floor SF, similarly inflated by 2 Williams Selyem Pinot Noirs.
