We rented a van last month out of MUC via Avis. No problems. I did notice on return, however, that the agent spent an unusually long time inspecting the van. "Okay, everything is fine," he assured me. I remember thinking that I didn't realize there would be any drama with his inspection. Avis returns in the USA never involve that much inspection, in my experience.
