Because If I read one of those stuff about AC having a good luggage delivery because a Star G got it in less than 20 minutes I am seriously going to laugh my butts off.

SEs, Star Gs, J fliers gets the good experience, its AC's Y paxes on Tango fares get told to essentially pound sand when anything bad happens.
I've never understood your willingness to brag about "Tango 4 Lyfe" on Monday, then complain on Tuesday that SEs flying J got their bags before you did.

Set aside for the moment that the entire value proposition of business class, or elite status, is that it's supposed to get you more and better service than the lowest-possible-economy-fare people get.

Seeking out the lowest possible economy fare shouldn't get you any extra services like weather-delay insurance, or priority baggage, since the whole point of those fares is that some pax don't want to pay for anything other than moving your tuchus from point A to point B.

Badenoch nailed it; virtually anyone who's flown five or ten other legacy carriers comes back to report that, all things averaged out, AC's not markedly better or worse than any of them.

Not in the same league as the J product on CX or SQ, I don't think anyone's making that argument, but for 99% of travel, and 99% of travellers, not notably different than DL or AA or UA or BA or LH or LX when it comes to rerouting a dozen A321s worth of passengers during a thunderstorm at a hub airport.

In this situation, the airlines I just listed will all pretty much start with their elites and J pax, and work down from there until they finally get to the Tango 4 Lyfe pax dead last.

Almost as if they had some sort of system for ranking passengers' importance.
