But this hypothetical customer would get ExPlat (or any other Emerald status) anyway just through BAEC gold. But your mention of CK is good as another example of a 'super-status'.

Don't know the answer, but how much would you need to fly AA (and specifically AA) in order to get CK?

This hypothetical customer might have reached the hallowed heights one year on a £300 spend, but is entitled to use their benefits for at least a further 12 months - during which time they could travel BA far more often, burning the considerable number of Avios they've earned.
