I agree it's not nice, but is a hair in your meal really worth all this aggravation? Given all the gross things that flying in a cabin rarely deep-cleaned exposes you to, a hair doesn't seem like much to make a fuss about. They said sorry and I'm sure the info was fed back. Just leave it be. I can't imagine asking for compensation.
