Given that route, I would say there is a very high chance of the bag being found so long as a full description was given, and using good key words (e.g. Delsey or yellow belt). If it isn't found by Tuesday then I'd start to get concerned. Two to three days is average for this scenario, assuming we don't have baggage Armageddon tomorrow, so I'd assure Mum accordingly.
