Well, I did get a stupid error on your first example. Picking Aug 13 "All Day" for all three legs, I get "The departure date/time for flight 3 cannot be prior to previous flights in the itinerary. " Which of course it isn't.
If I specify Morning / Afternoon / Evening respectively, I get quite a few options; a handful have just the 3 segments, and many more route through PHX at some point.
I selected the first choice (3 segments), and followed it all the way to "Review and Pay" before bailing.
