Of the BYOB restaurants I have been to, most of the cuisine served has gone well w/beer. In that case I like BYOB.

But if traveling, the convenience (wine choices) of full bar is hard to beat.

sorry to tangent, but a quick youth drinking story. We used to go to Gino's Pizzeria on Superior in chicago because we would be served beer at 16 years old (back in the 70's). Even though we could get served we were too cheap to pay for as many pitchers as we would go through, so we would each hide a 6pack w/us in our coats. One time the waitress came back to our table after serving us our 1st pitcher. She had a puzzled look on her face as we had filled the pitcher full w/some of the beer from cans, yet all our glasses were filled as well.
