My father flew LCY-TXL yesterday on Y in BA Cityflyer. It was his first time on BA. Anyway, he reports that during this short flight he tried to have an alcoholic beverage when the drinks were served. However, after asking for some whisky, the FA reportedly laughed and said "Really? You sure?" and did not serve him alcohol. Apparently nobody else around got any alcohol. Now, my father's English is not the best, so he did not argue, but is this normal? Has there been any recent enhancements that I'm not familiar with?
