I don't have experience with the Anaheim HP, but I recently did a similar itinerary in June with my family of 5: 3 nights at HR Orange Country followed by 4 nights at Huntington Beach.

The Regency in Orange County has amazing service and a shuttle to Disneyland that's really convenient. It's only about 5-10 ride from the hotel to Disneyland. The points rate is 12K as well, I think. Most of the FT posts I've read recommend this is the Hyatt choice for crashing at when doing Disney. If you're a diamond (or even platinum) you're more or less guaranteed a free suite upgrade, as like 1/3 of the rooms are suites.

The HR Huntington beach is a great property, with great beach access and awesome pools. You'll love it. You can walk or take the shuttle down to Huntington Beach main street for some more food choices (though the on property choices are decent).

To be honest, I'd just forgo the car. We did a total of nine days in SoCal (2 in San Diego at the Grand Hyatt), and did fine with our family of five with it. We took the train from SD to OC, and otherwise used uber or taxis. Uber works so well in SoCal, and the OC concierge lined up transportation to HB (20 minutes or so after finishing disney one night).
For what would've been $750+ for car rental and parking fees, we probably only burned $200-$250 on transportation (also, you can day rent a car on site at HR HB).
