The AA fare allows stops in EU for $75 on both directions... which is unique for such a low fare. So does ST fare, but *A fare is $600 for stopover.
$300 change fee as opposed to use it or lose it, which is good as well for a cheap fare.
Lastly, these appear to require marketing carrier metal/code on transatlantic sector. So for AA fare, must be AA flight operated by AA, etc. So if crediting to AA, chose AA fare if you want 2x EQM but lower RDM and BA fare if you want 1.5EQM but higher RDM.
I see the stopover rule too but it doesn't price up on google, matrix or aa.com. ARN-LHR-SFO-LHR//-ARN would do me very nicely indeed.
