Different symptoms, but I'm also finding the app unusable today. I've been unable to check in via the app for two hours. It gets to the stage where it's supposed to display my boarding pass then stalls for several minutes. Finally spits out a screen that says:
Bummer.
There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.
Mine did the same thing on the 26th, fixed itself yesterday (27th).
Other issue is, once the gate agent opens the flight on their computer, you are no longer able to view your boarding pass in the app. It gives you the option to view it, but does nothing. Make sure you add it to your Apple Wallet if you are using iOS.
