I can empathise to an extent – on a work trip to Singapore SQ were something like £2k cheaper than the outrageous ~£5k being quoted by BA. It did give me pause with TPs and Avios in mind…but obviously I flew on SQ (which was very nice, although perhaps not the step up from BA I had expected)
