Is my loyalty to BA going too far
Please help me get my common sense back.

I am due to fly LHR-JFK on a business trip.
Long story short but according to the corporate TA, I can either fly with BA in Economy (Y class ticket) or with Delta in business (Delta One).
I don’t need the tier points but could do with the avios.
I know it’s crazy, but part of me is tempted to fly with BA. Am I mad? somehow i know i am mad....

OT: the Delta one flight is in fact a VS flight number but on DL metal. I have no VS status (but I am Skyteam elite +), will I be able to use the clubhouse at T3?
