Delayed bags compensation options
my daughter and her new husband flew BA7 in F to Tokyo yesterday for the start of their honeymoon; but her bag didn't.
BA say it will be delivered to the hotel today, which is fine.
She was given a BA credit card with £200 on it and is asking whether it would be possible to exchange this for either some Avios points or an upgrade on their onward flight to Aus in a couple of days time, not sure which airline but booked with BA (think they are currently in PE).
Has anyone any experience trying this or should she just spend the money?
