While I haven't done LNR-MRU, the 10:40 to CPT in business the other week and there was a choice of full English, a pasta & a vegetarian curry.

As for the lounge in international departures, you maybe stuck with the BA lounge

I think there is some confusion here. I believe the OP is talking about service on JNB - Mauritius, not LHR-MRU (which isn't Comair) or domestic flights.

There is a Slow lounge in international departures at OR Tambo which the OP can use.
