In Vienna now. Got in on a 7:15 AM flight with Qatar Airways and requested an early check-in at the them of reservation a few months ago. Got to the hotel and informed that I got an upgrade to an executive room but the room wouldn't be ready "for a few hours." Was given vouchers for complimentary coffee at the hotel's bar [main restaurant closed for renovation] and then just pottered around town. Currently lying in the grass at the Burggarten across the street, so the overall experience is a bit of a mixed bag so far [skewing to the positive], but I'm optimistic. Looking forward to whys ahead.
