That's one reason I converted to the TB Western Flyer - I can stick it under the seat in front of me. I never take a bulkhead seat so I can have an underseat in front :-)

Of course with status, I'm boarding early anyway so it's not really an issue anymore but I just hate screwing with luggage. I can travel a week on business with a TB WF but a lot of that comes from years of ultralight backpacking so I'm not carrying anything extra. Souvenirs are scarves and silks or mailed/shipped back home.
