Called the retention department directly this evening at 800-444-2568 regarding Thank you Premier card.
Stated reason for cancellation was due to annual fee.
Was given 3 offers:
$95 statement credit for spending $3K in the next 3 months
$50 statement credit for making 5 purchases of $10 or more over the next 3 months
$95 statement credit for spending $1K per month for the next 3 months

There must be a typo in there somewhere, as the 3rd offer seems to be inferior to the 1st any way you look at it. Either way, you gain $95 for a total spend is $3k in 3 months, but with the 3rd offer you have an additional restriction.
