I wasn't saying you are wrong, just that I was seeing no wordage indicating that this was a closed card. I accept that this is indeed true.

Moving on... I think I'm going to go with the Club Card. The extra mileage bonuses will be of great benefit to me. I usually only fly just enough to maintain Silver but have a typical total annual spend of $50K to $60k. The Club card would add significant mileage to the bank, plus, of course, the use of the Club. I think that will be well worth the $450 annual fee. Which is only $350 more than my MP card fee.

My only concern is that, if I change cards, do I forfeit any miles currently in my MP account that were accumulated based Case card bonuses. Haven't quite figured that out yet.
