An eat-in Christmas Dinner in HI: Menu Advice
The BH extended family (5 adults & a couple of rug rats) is renting a Waillea condo over the Christmas holidays. If we were home in Seattle we'd have a standing rib roast, but that seems rather mundane (as would roast turkey). Got to speculating as to what would be appropriate for Hi ... maybe roast pig (not a whole pig, but take-out from someone who does pigs), or seafood (King crab? or whatever). Would appreciate info/comments/advice regarding a Hawaii-appropriate Christmas Dinner menu.
