Authentic Mexican Food

Right down the block from my office is a restaurant that has the best mexican food in the valley. It is at the far end of Calabasas right on the corner of Las Virgenes (Malibu Cyn Road) and Agoura Road. I actually went their again today for their buffet lunch that they have. The name of the restaurnat is Money Pancho

For only $8.95 for lunch and $11.95 for Sunday Brunch, you get some of the best food around. For some reason their quesadillas, even though that they are just flour tortillas and cheeze, are the best around. They hand make their tortillas next to the buffet. For lunch today, they had dishes of chicken, fish and pork in different sauces. They had albondigas soup, taquitos, chimichangas, fried tacos, mini hard shell tacos, both chicken and cheese enchilada's as well as items for salad. One of the best parts of their buffet is they have a HUGE bowl of guacamole on the buffet itself. Must have had an avocado's worth myself today.

For sunday brunch, they add an omlette bar and oftentimes, shrimp fajitas.

Carlos is one of the managers and I think son of the owner. It is a complete family business and they all take pride in their food. You can visit their website for more information http://www.moneypancho.com/home.html

If you like real authentic mexican food (not el torito), you will not regret going here.
