I was on a 3-class 777-200 yesterday into EWR. After a few 380 trips and the UD 747, the lack of space to put anything really struck me - at least on those other aircraft you have the window ledge and storage which makes a huge difference.

Thankfully the IFE wasn't playing up although the picture quality after the A380 did feel really poor.

My smoked salmon starter was a disgrace though - the slice of salmon was maybe 2mm thick (max) and was smaller than the lemon which was sat next to it to squeeze over it. I almost felt personally insulted and I normally let these things wash over me!

That said, the wine and fizz selection were very good, as were the crew..
