I'd lean towards the Marriott at Wailea as being the most family-friendly.
Loved the Andaz, but I found it to be a little more adult-oriented. The Hyatt is nice, but it is on the bottom of Kaanapali Beach on a stretch that is full of coral and not great for swimming.
Did you look at Marriott's Ocean Club property? It's on a much nicer part of the beach in Kaanapali.
