A load of nonsense of course, but don't worry.
If you put in a detailed complaint at the Heathrow website (remember to say which terminal you were in, which set of security (there are two, north and south) and what time you were there approximately, there will be a detailed review of how you were treated, and what happened on CCTV.
You should get a decent response, and an indication if the person wasn't following standard practice (in which case there will be some retraining) or if it seemed that they did what they were supposed to do.
You have a better chance of some comeuppance with the supervisor by including details of how your attempts to complain on the day were rebuffed.
