The transition from GF to Polaris will be painful for those GS folks who are used to GF, especially the "space," or lack of. From photos, it looks like GF pax will be like moving from a country estate to a condo...nor am I optimistic about re-re-trained flight attendants embracing the new "ambiance" as much as some HVFs are expecting. Folks expecting first will migrate to first, elsewhere, but UA has determined there won't be enough of them to make any difference. We'll see.

Based on many of the comments in this thread, UA is really creating some outsize expectations with its "Polaris" marketing blitz.
The "I Just Flew 'Polaris' And Wow Am I Disappointed" thread will be a hot one.
^Like the "consolidated late/cancelled international departures," Polaris disappointment is going to be the hot new FT topic for years to come.
