I'm confused (happens often, used to claim a blonde moment now I worry it may be a senior moment)
my WTP routes are normally outbound to TPA,DEN or ORD. Usually managing CW on the return.
The outbound offering has always been a full hot meal around 90 mins after take off and somewhere around 90 mins before landing a little box with a sandwich and a mini kit kat (is this the tuck box referred to?)
I only ventured to the "kitchen" twice - once on an outbound WTP flight I trotted up to the rear "kitchen" area to request a bottle of water and was informed it was for Word Traveller customers only and that I would have had a bottle of water delivered to my cabin already. On the second occasion it was a CW inbound flight from TPA and I couldn't see any "kitchen" or snacks at all although there was a pretty noisy group of passengers who stood in the galley area for around 90 minutes post the meal service so they may have consumed the contents.
So, am I right in thinking that I will now only receive a hot meal on the WTP routes above? If that's the case it looks like I will have to pack more substantial snacks in future as it's a longish flight.
As far as the "kitchen" snacks go I guess I won't miss what I've never had
