AA didn't load my bag - I asked them at the gate to ensure it was onboard after big delays in Immigration in a Canada to USA Transit. AA Ground staff and Air Attendant on board all said YES. All were wrong - Get to SFO from Toronto via O'Hare and - NO BAG.


Promised was 6 Hrs - No Way - Tracking the Delayed Bag ID - Hopeless this only tells you what you already know. tracking by Bag Tag ID on the normal bag tracking works. Until you try to call to confirm any details - ON HOLD, call back when you have an AUSSIE +61 prefix - doesn't work in the call back system.


So my bag is off-loaded in SFO 2 Hrs ago and no way can I get through the telephone system to find out where it is - I guess I'll just shut up and WAIT. So much for checking in Toronto - AA Reps told me exactly what I wanted to HEAR!


So the answer to all this - FLY DELTA, or UNITED, or anybody else!
