Sorry for the confusion for using the term "same day" standby.

I am referring not to the term that she goes on the same day as she is ticketed, but on an earlier day. I am referring that the standby take place at the airport on the new day that she wants to leave - hence, "same-day" stand-by - same new day that she stands by as she wants to leave.

She would have to pay CAD$150 to change the ticket, subject to availability of economy cabin seats that day.
