I'll be spending a long weekend in BOG next month and I am trying to decide which property to stay at. Any recent experience with the DT Parque 93 or DT Calle 100?
Regarding VAT: When looking at properties on hilton.com, only the Hilton Bogota property page contains the following message.
As per Colombia's tax laws, a 16% VAT will be charged to Colombian residents and nonresident that do not receive a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11 stamp or TP12 visa upon entry to the country. This amount will be charged at the hotel as an addition to the quoted room rate. 16% VAT exemption only applies to room package rates.
Neither of the DTs or ES has it.
