Hello Friends,

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and want to apply for a travel Schengen visa for Spain. North Carolina is under the Washington DC consulate's jurisdiction. But, I am going to Miami next week.. Can I apply for a visa there?

Is an appointment required?

The Spanish consulate visa website is horrible and nothing seems to work. It talks about requirements, but I did not find anything for appointments. I have tried calling them and every time I reach an answering machine..

Can I apply a visa for my parents (60 +) via online? I'm an Indian Citizen with US permanent Green card holder. Also, I see France embassy in Atlanta which is near to Charlotte about 4 hrs drive.. if I'll show them the Itinerary that I'm visiting to Paris, Is it Ok to get the Schengen Visa from France embassy (my port of entry would be Spain, so CLT > BCN and separate ticket from BCN to Paris)?
