Add me to the list of those that travel with a heavy duty extension cord, which gets checked if I have to check a bag. In fifteen years, it's never been an issue. Mine only has one outlet, but I travel with a separate splitter that gives me three outlets. There are times I only need the splitter. IME TSA does not rummage through my bag because of the extension cord.
