Mexico does have some inbound immigration controls, and it goes beyond just a set-up for people to buy a permit to stay in Mexico for longer than 5 days.

GVA is the airport that I most frequently use, amongst those that are more or less on or very near a border. CPH airport is around just 12 minutes away from Sweden but it's not like GVA.
