Not sure if this has existed for a long time or whether this has been introduced recently.
Has anyone experience with this and knows what the rates are compared to a standard upgrade?
I was able to successfully do this a couple weeks ago for a KLM flight from AMS to SFO. I upgraded from coach to business. It cost me 25K AA miles and $388. Money and miles well spent in my opinion. The seat was sweet.
