based on your metrics, both the night count, and spend, you wld be feeling comfortable that you have already satisfied the criteria.
excluding say really low cost markets, like the USD75 KL IC eg. the traditional low cost route, mainly for those guys on their employer's dime, being say 40 non IC nights@USD100, and 20 USD200 nights, equates to 8K.
Sure, in some Asian markets, it cld be achieved for half that, and it's quite possible, the primary reason they use the "top 1% by Invitation" line, allows them to adjust the $ threshold requirement by market.
If the average IHG IC profit per RA member is circa $5k then that will hang off property revenue of more like $50k than $10k.
Just because they say that RA membership will be determined my IC revenue, they don't say whether Spire membership anyway is a minimum entry point. I suspect it effectively will be anyway since the IC spend target will be set well above the current $7.5k spire requalification hurdle.
look at Hilton as a guide to status by revenue. For Diamond which is significantly inferior to RA a customer must spend $12k with Hilton. I suspect the RA hurdle will be higher than this.
