Cancellation and CE experience.

I was originally going to write on here when I got home to share my wonderful CE experience I had on my flight out. I wasn't expecting much, but actually found it to be really pleasant. The two members of cabin crew who were in the CE cabin were delightful, so friendly and very forthcoming with the champagne (which was a huge shame for me as I was driving at this end). The brunch was really quite nice and they did several runs of hot bread rolls. Having the middle seat as a table was useful as well. I really enjoyed it!
I just received a text from BA to say my flight home (BA575 Milan Linate to LHR) has been cancelled. I rang up and was on hold for 40 minutes before another text came through saying I had been rebooked into the earlier flight and to accept the rebooking. I tried on the website and my app but it didn't work So I called the number it gave me who said that he would accept it for me. It hasn't changed on manage my booking yet it still says I need to accept, will it just take a bit of time to come through on manage my booking? Also would anyone happen to know why it is cancelled? I'm just curious given its the night before the flight which was meant to be at around 2.30pm tomorrow.
Sorry for the babbling, I'm just getting a bit worried!!
