Yeah I figured that, I just don't see how I have a way to determine everything (if there is a way). The credit value was $309, but AQD was $198.42. So $110.58 in fees & government taxes (MCO-YYZ). Youch!
Between Nav Canada and all of the US Fees that sounds about right. I have booked flights that were YOW-ATL (transfer YYZ) that had a lower overall price than a YOW to YYZ (same flight to YYZ) yet the "taxes and Fees" were higher than the fare since now they had to pay all of the US fees. Competition on US routes is high so the "fare" is lower but the fees have to be paid on both sides of the Border. The airport fees in Canada alone for "improvements" are now in the 25 dollar range per location.
