With this update, it means all NZ revenue fares are earning MileagePlus miles. I think this will drive a few people to join MileagePlus as previously you could only credit these cheap fares to Airpoints and Velocity.

UA even list X class as earning 25% miles, presumably those cheap domestic flights earning nothing anyway before. But This will now cause problems as Star Awards in Economy also use this fare bucket.
