My wife and I booked an AA award ticket SFO-SIN through JAL for November 9th. I got an email from my brother-in-law about the schedule change, so I looked our ticket up on both AA and on JAL. Both of them had the change in flight times for SFO-HND. Unfortunately, they also both showed that I would arrive on November 10th in the afternoon and my connecting flight to Singapore was still shown as departing at 10AM on November 10th. Uh, unless HND has a time machine, that wouldn't work. So, a quick check of availability of other flights on the BA website and a call to AA got us switched over to a CX flight that departs about the same time from SFO, but, of course, connects through HKG and gets us into SIN about five hours earlier. More time to eat Singaporean food!
