I concur with a couple of ideas that come up repeatedly: First, wait for at least a week after the wedding, so that the wedding and the honeymoon can be planned, enjoyed, and savored as two separate events.
Secondly, a simple schedule will be much less stressful. Two weeks is not that long, how about 4-6 days in the Maldives and another 4-6 as Pinniped suggests, in an Asian hub? Allow for travel time, tweak the days according to what appeals to you. Then you'll mix a little R & R with some activities. Go check the Asia forum for ideas... you could do adventure, luxury, culture...there are lots of options in whatever country appeals to you.
A cousin of mine, not well traveled, honeymooned in Thailand. It was kind of an off the grid honeymoon destination (for many, not FTers). His budget went far, and it was the adventure of lifetime for both of them.
Third, I also agree that getting to Europe is fairly easy. The are often sales, there are usually award seats, it's not that far from you. Do it the following year.
