The RPUs will return to your account automatically most of the time. If you do not see them in your account in two days after your trip, you will have to call MP service center.
If your fare class is currently available, you can call and get RPUs back. You will return to the CPU queque.
Remember that you are ahead of all CPUers with the RPUs but behind those 1K/GS with for Y/B/M upgrade fare (into PN class). If your RPUs will expire in Jan 2017, you'd better use them now.
