I fly this route very frequently. It is fine. Usually techies traveling for work ("nerd bird"), but there are families in summertime on their way to Hawaii, etc. Of the 50+ times I've taken this flight in the last two years, I've not been delayed more than 30m--and even that is relatively uncommon.

And SJC is one of my favorite airports in the world. It's the best thing about San Jose. (Interpret that as you will.)
