Hi TonyRB.
I have traveled a lot with my daughter who is now almost 3 since she was 4 months old.
When they are younger they will provide you with baby food in jars, but the older ones will get a a good variety of food.
A week ago I flew LHR-DOH with my daughter and the child's meal was along the lines of (lunch time flight) pasta with meat sauce, bread roll and butter, juice box, packet of chips, fresh fruit and a small chocolate bar.
Then later in the flight they had children friendly sandwiches as a snack.
A couple weeks before that we flew DOH-LHR and it was a morning flight. They gave her a breakfast meal which was like sausage, scrambled eggs and smiley faced hash browns.
I've noticed the kids meals seem to be similar no matter where I've been flying to.
I hope this helps.
