I had the same issue for the family and put their details into their BAEC profile - but I think it only worked when I added the API for a flight and checked this box?
I updated their info in their profiles, rather than in a specific MMB booking + check a box. If that's what BA IT requires then I'll try that. It shouldn't however have to be this difficult/involved!
