I don't think that the survey pertains to the Ambassador program which starts off as being a paid membership.

I think they are probably looking at the IHG Rewards Club only as that is the IHG's loyalty program. Lifetime Platinum or Spire status.

No other hotel chain has an equivalent program to IHG Ambassador.
So comparing RA to any other hotel chain's lifetime elite status is like comparing apples to bananas.

IMHO. the only ones who should be surveyed for Lifetime RA status are RAs and Ambassador members.
