I use the gate guru app to figure out the best place to eat when going through unfamiliar airports. As many times as I have gone through IAD C/D I can't recall any food place that stands out. In the morning, the Dunkin Donuts is as good as any (or hardboiled eggs, pastry and cereal in the UC).
