Hi, hoping to get an answer here (search came up blank)....

If I book MLE-SIN-MUC-BOS, where MLE-SIN-MUC is in SQ J, and MUC-BOS is LH J, am I able to change the MUC-BOS leg to F when/if availability opens up at the 14-day mark? I know my reward (for 2) would go up to 265K vs 195K, and taxes/fees may be higher.

But I guess my question is, can they change 1 segment of a flight without impacting the rest of the itinerary? My question would also apply to SIN-MUC if that opened in F.

I would imagine my MLE-SIN flight would be unaffected, but just making sure that they wouldn't "cancel and re-book", but rather just "change" the segment in question. My fear is that F opens up, but then there is no award availability on the MLE-SIN leg when that happens.
